The Syrp Super Dark Variable ND Filter is the perfect accessory for taking your photography and time-lapse to the next level. The Filter allows you to slow your shutter speed down in daylight conditions and adds whole new creative perspective to your scene. Made with high-quality Japanese glass, each kit comes with a genuine leather case, two lens adaptor rings and a lens cloth.

SMOOTH VARIABLE ND: The Super Dark ND Filter includes an adjustable exposure of 5-10 stops of light (ND32-ND1024) and the stops are clearly marked on the Filter. We’ve also added hard limits so you can quickly set the minimum and maximum values while preventing X-Pattern at the extreme end. The front of the Filter has a thread so you can easily stack other filters if needed and it will also fit your regular lens cap.

LONG EXPOSURES: Long exposures capture an element that standard photography does not; time. Shooting long exposures in the middle of the day requires the use of an ND filter to allow you to shoot slow shutter speeds in bright conditions

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY: Long exposures are fundamental to landscape photography as they capture the effect of time passing, giving your images an expressive and often surreal look. Frozen waterfalls become flowing torrents, rough water turns into glassy lakes and people transform into motion blur.

TIME-LAPSE PHOTOGRAPHY: Shooting time-lapse with fast shutter speeds causes the moving elements to flicker and stutter between frames, which can be distracting. Using a longer exposure time allows you to blur moving objects which helps to blend movement between frames. This adds a more natural look and feel to your time-lapses.

GENUINE LEATHER CASE: Both the Small and Large Filter Kits come with a genuine leather carry case to house the Filter and ensure it stays protected from dust and scratches. It also includes a lens cloth to ensure your images are dust-free.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX: Included in each Filter Kit is two step up rings to fit the Large 82mm or Small 67mm filter to Smaller diameter lenses. The Large Filter includes 77mm & 72mm step up rings and the Small inlcudes 58mm & 52mm step up rings.

CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY: When setting your exposure during the day, you are limited to using fast shutter speeds to account for bright conditions, even when setting your aperture to f22 and ISO 100 the slowest shutter speed possible is half a second. Adding the Super Dark Variable ND lets you slow your shutter speed to at least 15 seconds even in the middle of the day!
